Course Fee BDS course costs very much less than MBBS, and as such is more affordable to every class of society. BDS degree is cost effective and guarantees a lucrative career. C ourse Duration is Less It take less time to complete undergraduate degree in Dental Surgery than MBBS as the BDS course duration is 5 years where as the MBBS course duration is 5 and a half years. Students get their BDS degree  much earlier than MBBS degree. BDS is course only eligible for those students who had completed their intermediate or who is studying in 12th standard.They have to apply for entrance exam of medical i.e NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate). Once the results are out,students will have to appear for counselling for taking admissions. Counselling will be held by CBSE as well as various states/private colleges who have decided to take admission according to the NEET-UG score. Students will be asked to apply for counselling after that they will get to know which colleges/seats are open for them according to their score and ranking.
